EMB is a public outreach offering of the regional geoscience, engineering and emergency management community. The program is an effort to raise awareness of earthquake hazards and earthquake risk in the central United States and explain how we can better prepare for future events. It will consist of morning presentations, a luncheon seminar and afternoon break-out sessions. Attendees also have the opportunity to visit with exhibitors who will provide information and resources to assist businesses in disaster preparation and business continuity planning
The cost to attend is $105 for general attendees and $25 for non-SLU students. The registration deadline is January 21, 2013. Professional Development Hours (PDHs) are available for those attending the conference. Additional information is available on the event website.
