Dates

The Professionalism and Integrity in Research Course onsite sessions will be offered on the following dates:

IMPORTANT: Participants must be registered at least six weeks in advance of the onsite sessions. This is necessary to allow for an interview with an institutional official, and online assessment prior to the onsite program.

Costs

2013 P.I. Program Course Fees: $3,500

Includes: Online assessment, online instruction, three days of onsite small group education, the development of a personalized professional development plan, and follow up.

Meals & Materials:

Through the sponsorship of the CITI Program at the University of Miami, participants will be provided with breakfast and lunch each day, and a personal biofeedback device, at no additional cost.

Accommodations:

Accommodations must be made separately. A list of nearby hotels can be found here, including information on obtaining discounted room rates.

Continuing Medical Education Credits: $25

ACCREDITATION: Saint Louis University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: Saint Louis University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Funding: The P.I. Program was initially developed as the Restoring Professionalism and Integrity in Research (RePAIR) program with funding from the National Institutes of Health. The P.I. Program currently has funding from the U.S. Office of Research Integrity to engage in program assessment.
