Summary
This invention includes an isolated polynucleotide, SALL1, and operably connected promoter that are active in human breast cancer cells or human melanoma cells. It includes methods for suppressing the growth, proliferation, migration or metastasis of a cancer cell. It also includes a method for assessing the structure, expression and function of SALL1 in a sample from a patient.
