When
a grant is awarded, ORS takes care of the paperwork to open the account
and set up the budget. ORS serves as a liaison to the University's Office
of Sponsored Programs in requesting accounts, allocating awards into
appropriate budget object codes, and seeking approval for fiscal transfers.
ORS can also requests and coordinates matching funds for proposals.
Throughout
the grant period, ORS works with faculty and staff, as well as the funding
organization, on compliance with federal regulations.
