Steve Georgevitch leads the Supply Chain Design organization within Boeing's Global Services & Support Supply Chain Management organization. In this role, Mr. Georgevitch supports the development of integrated logistics and operations capabilities to support global military customers with supply chain management solutions.
Prior to his current role, Georgevitch supported the establishment of a Logistics Command & Control business practices in Boeing's Defense & Government Services business and played a key role in the strategic acquisitions necessary to support this market. With more than 25 years of aerospace operations and supply chain management experience, Mr. Georgevitch has worked closely with the U.S. Department of Defense in the areas of Automated Identification Technology and Total Life Cycle Support, including industry leadership roles in the support of DoD policies in Radio Frequency Identification and Unique Item Identification. In addition, Georgevitch has extensive experience in enterprise business solutions, including the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning and Enterprise Asset Management systems.
Mr. Georgevitch is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Contract Management. He is active on the Executive Board and Steering Team of Saint Louis University's Supply Chain Management Center and is the Chair of the Executive Advisory Board for Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies. He is Vice Chair of the Industry Advisory Board of the Center for Engineering & Logistics Distribution (CELDi), Chairman of the Supply Chain Council, a member of the National Defense Transportation Association as well as a member of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals.
