With 28 years of management, customer service, marketing and sales experience, Prentice Robertson brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Whelan. Prior to joining Whelan in 2003, Mr. Robertson spent 12 years with Barton Protective Services as the senior sales and marketing executive responsible for company organic growth from $40 million to nearly $350 million. Since joining Whelan, the company has more than quadrupled in size. In his role as Chief Operating Officer for Whelan, Mr. Robertson is responsible for the leadership of all functional areas of the company including sales, marketing, customer service, management development, strategy and culture.

Mr. Robertson is a graduate of University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in journalism and minor in marketing. Professionally, he is a graduate of the ISMA Kellogg School of Management Leadership Program at Northwestern University and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the St. Louis University School of Criminal Justice. He is active in several industry organizations including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the ASIS International, through which he previously served on the Business Practices Council. He is also a member of C12 Group, an organization of Christian CEO's and Business Owners.
