The admissions and advising staff assist with undergraduate admission, orientation, academic planning and registration and are available to you during the day and in the evenings at the St. Louis campus. You may drop by during our advising hours listed below or make an appointment by calling (314) 977-2330 or (800) 734-6736. Advising for graduate programs is through your program director.

Debra has more than 15 years of experience in education, holding several types of positions including instructor, program coordinator and an academic advisor. She also has experience in marketing, sales and sales management. Debra earned her master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Southern Illinois University. Her Spanish minor was completed at the University of Madrid; Madrid, Spain.

Justin Smith, M.S.
Justin earned a B.A. in History from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 2008 and his M.S. in Higher Education with a concentration in College Administration and Leadership as well as Assessment and Evaluation from Kaplan University in 2012. He has more than five years of college administration experience in both admissions and academic advising at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He enjoys working with students and helping them meet their goal of earning a degree.
Lana Kelly Hilliard, M.A.
Lana received her B.S. in Journalism at Missouri State University and her Master's degree in Higher Education from Saint Louis University. She has nine years experience in the education field, working in varies roles such as admission counselor, academic advisor, coordinator and instructor. Lana loves working at SPS and seeing her students succeed. She's currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Higher Education Administration.
Sharon earned her B.A. in Organizational Studies from the School for Professional Studies and continues her Master's studies in Public Administration at Saint Louis University. This has given Sharon a clear understanding of the non-traditional learning environment and how to assist students to achieve successful results. Sharon is excited to work with adult learners and help them achieve their educational goals.

Eric earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Columbia College. He has experience working in financial aid and admissions at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels and enjoys helping adult students achieve their educational goals.
