Alpha Sigma Lambda

Alpha Sigma Lambda is a national honor society founded in 1945 to recognize the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing competing interests of home and work. The induction ceremony takes place once a year in the spring. Students selected for membership must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment in a degree program, with a minimum of 30 graded credit hours completed;
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credit hours outside of their major;
  • A minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.

Dean's List

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must be enrolled full time in college level, graded coursework with a 3.7 minimum semester GPA.

Teacher of the Year Nominations

Each year Alpha Sigma Lambda awards the Teacher of the Year award.  Look for information on how to nominate an instructor during the spring semester.
