Leadership and Organizational Development Bridge Program

Accelerated Leadership Degree Program at SLU

The accelerated bachelor's to master's program for a Leadership & Organizational Development degree (BA/MA) is designed for working professionals wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree and professional master's degree while maintaining part- or full-time employment. Our leadership programs offer courses in online formats with optional blended class meetings, in an accelerated 8-week term. These courses make our advanced online organizational and leadership program more accessible for working professionals.

As a part of their undergraduate studies, students at SPS can take two graduate-level courses (6 credit hours) at the undergraduate tuition rate. If a student is accepted into the Master's in Leadership & Organizational Development program, those two courses will be waived, resulting in a remaining 30 hours to complete the degree.

Students may request permission to take up to two of the graduate-level ORLD courses as a part of their undergraduate education (this applies to students in any online program at SPS as well as business degree students). If accepted to the LOD program, these two courses would be applied toward the degree completion requirements. The student must possess a 3.0 GPA in his/her major and minor coursework taken at SPS in order to be granted permission to take these graduate level courses. Business degree students and other undergraduate level students who meet the above requirements are welcome to apply.

Application Requirements
All potential students who wish to apply for a graduate-level leadership program must apply directly to and be accepted into the School for Professional Studies (SPS) in order to enroll. Once admitted to SPS, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the major, minor/certificate, and master's-level bridge courses in order to advance in the Leadership & Organizational Development Bridge Program. To complete the remaining 30 credit hours for a Master's degree in Leadership & Organizational Development, SPS students must apply and be accepted into the graduate program. Per the current standards, no transfer course is accepted toward the master's degree if the student receives a letter grade below "B".
