SLU's School for Professional Studies Minor and Certificate programs are designed with busy adults in mind.

Our undergraduate minor and certificate programs offered on campus in St. Louis and conveniently online can increase your knowledge base, improve your marketability and enhance your career. Regardless of your educational background, these programs can be completed either on-campus or online and provide you with the flexibility to gain a professional emphasis in several areas of study.

  • If you're pursuing a bachelor's degree, you can pursue any of these programs as a minor combined with your major, to give you a well-rounded bachelor's degree.
  • If you have not yet earned a bachelor's degree, but meet the prerequisites, you can pursue these programs as a stand-alone undergraduate certificate.
  • If you've already obtained a bachelor's degree or higher, you can pursue these programs as a stand-alone undergraduate certificate.

Our minor and certificate programs offered in St. Louis, MO, and online range from 18-24 credit hours and can take less than a year to complete. All courses taken as a part of our on-campus or online certificate program will apply toward a bachelor's degree.

Once you've completed the courses and earned your SLU minor or certificate, you will have your new knowledge base and competitive edge in the job market.
