Interested in representing children in court? Learn about providing legal advocacy to children who have been abused or neglected in St. Louis and support a great cause while enjoying cocktails and dinner at the Voices for Children annual benefit. Judges Jimmie Edwards and Michael Burton will be speaking about their time on the bench in family court. Don't pass on this chance to meet people who work in the field of child advocacy. Individual tickets go for $200, but Professor Kerrin Kowach has graciously donated two (2) tickets to Voices for Children's "Be The Difference" Benefit on Thursday, April 18 at 6pm.
Tour several St. Louis sites related to U.S. Supreme Court cases with Professors Leah Chan Grinvald & Marcia L. McCormick. This tour for four includes lunch along the way and ends at the City Museum, housed in the famous International Shoe Warehouse. Professor McCormick's kids can serve as premium City Museum tour guides if winners would like.
Prepare for SLU LAW's move downtown! Get to know one of our most acclaimed neighbors with a private tour of Busch Stadium, the Home of the Saint Louis Cardinals. Dean Pendo, Dean Dineen and Director Sanders will host a private look at the home of the Cardinals for up to 25 lucky winners. Do not miss this opportunity to see places like the radio broadcast booth, the World Series trophies in the Champions Club, and of course the Cardinal's Dugout. Tours are available year round depending on other events, so we plan to provide you with a choice of available dates.

Professor Robert Gatter will bring his espresso machine to school on a mutually agreeable school day. He will provide music and a baked treat for three to four students.
Professor Sidney Watson is donating "Cajun Dinner for a Dozen - shrimp, red beans & rice, bread pudding and more. Come enjoy some zydeco music, Louisiana's own Abita beer, and other libations" at Professor Watson's home.
Professor Kerry Ryan is donating two Cardinals tickets (winner can choose from a selection of available games). The tickets are diamond box seats - Sec. 156, Row H, Seats 9 and 10. (That's just six rows behind visitors dugout, for those who don't have Busch stadium seating memorized!). Look for the tickets in the silent auction.
In Professor Branham's own words: "Join Professor Branham in December for the "Braggin' Rights" basketball game between the University of Illinois and Mizzou. The four individuals who will be treated to dinner and libations at a tavern downtown before the game and tickets to the game. Must try to suppress any urges to cheer for Mizzou."

Three students get the opportunity to join Professor Anders Walker for an outing to the Bullseye Shooting Range on Manchester! Three students join Professor Aaron Taylor for bowling on a mutually agreed-upon date. Four students join Professor Thaman for dinner and a night out at one of Professor Thaman's favorite jazz or blues club in St. Louis.
Today Professor Howard donated 2 paintings to be auctioned off at the 2013 PILG Auction. Prof. Howard recently suffered a heart attack, but he did not let that stop him. He resumed teaching a week after that incident, and then he did a new painting for the PILG Auction. This commitment and dedication to our success as students is the common bond that ties our faculty together. The paintings are on display in front of Career Services. Please take a moment to look at them, and you will feel the love the faculty has for the students at SLU LAW.
Viewing Party with a TV Star! Five students join Professor Miriam Cherry at "the world's smallest castle" (her home) for a viewing party of Professor Cherry's appearance on House Hunters while enjoying drinks and hors d'oeveres. Professor Yvette LIebesman, Winnie, and Plato the miniature daschund will be additional guests.
Love T-Ravs? Six students join Professor Marcia Goldsmith and adjunct Professor Hal Goldsmith for dinner at Mangia Italiano on South Grand.
Cocktails and dinner for four students (or two students and their spouses) with Professor Peter Salsich and his son, Pete Salsich III, '96, of The Brickhouse Law Group. Student-winners will meet at The Brickhouse Law Group, 1006 Olive St, Suite 303, for cocktails, then walk to dinner at a downtown restaurant. Restaurant, date, and time will be selected in consultation with the winners.
Cardinals Game with the Admissions, Student Services, and Career Services Offices. Join your favorite staff members for a beloved springtime St. Louis tradition. Six (6) students are invited for a day at the ballpark on April 10, 2013. The game is at 12:45 p.m. The tickets are located in the Powerade Bridge and include an all-you-can-eat buffet, Budweiser and Bud Light, Coca-Cola products and O'Douls.
