Benefits Department programs and responsibilities include:

  • Conducting benefits orientations and retirement orientations;
  • Answering questions and processing enrollment/change applications regarding long term disability, life, health, dental and accidental death insurances; retirement, flex spending, dependent care and tuition remission;
  • Administering Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA);
  • Coordinating open enrollment for medical, dental, flex spending and dependent care.
