Benefits Orientation

All newly hired regular full-time employees, including employees who go from part-time to regular full-time, have 31 days from their start date to enroll in any Benefits Plans.

Benefits packets are distributed during orientations, where a Benefits Specialist is available to review the benefits, to answer questions and to assist with the completion of forms. Benefits Orientations are held weekly.

Once the job offer is extended and accepted, the recruiter will schedule the newly hired Staff Employee to attend the next Benefits Orientation date available based upon their start date. Newly hired Faculty members will need to contact the Benefits Office at 314-977-2304 before or on their first day of work to be scheduled to attend a Benefits Orientation. • Benefits Orientations are held at the Salus Center, in Training Room 1043.

Parking at the Salus Center which is located at 3545 Lafayette, St. Louis, MO 63104:

1) If you have a Parking Pass: you may park in General Parking off Henrietta & Louisiana behind the Salus Center, on the Wheeling Lot off McRee (1/2 block North of Grand and Lafayette) or at a meter on Lafayette.
2) If you have not obtained your Parking Pass: you may park in the visitor lot off Lafayette near the corner of Grand. Pull up to the gate and it will rise. Obtain a parking token to exit the gate before you leave the building from the front desk of Human Resources.

If you have not obtained your Parking Pass, you may park in the Olive Garage near the corner of Lindell and Compton. Visitor parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the spaces located at the east end of the first level of the Olive garage and in spaces on all additional levels.

For those having a Parking Pass, you may use reciprocal parking in either the Olive or Compton garages by using your Securakey as follows:

Olive Garage non-reserved parking section, access via Lindell to Olive (east).
Laclede Garage visitor parking section and roof, enter via the east entrance, access via Laclede (west) and Santa Clara Lot, access via Forest Park (west).
