POLICY
An
employment
requisition
is
required
to
recruit
and
hire
staff
and
faculty.
The
employment
requisition
should
not
be
used
for
student
workers
and
College
Work
Study
personnel.
This
form
does
not
replace
the
Electronic
Personnel
Action
Form
(EPAF)
for
the
termination
of
the
employee.
PROCEDURE
1.
An
requistion
should
be
completed
electronically
in
the
online
employment
(PeopleAdmin)
system
when
recruitment
is
necessary,
due
to
separation
of
an
employee
or
faculty
member,
or
by
the
creation
of
a
new
position.
2.
The
completed
form
is
routed
electronically
for
administrative
approvals
via
the
online
application
system.
Upon
receipt
and
approval
of
the
responsible
Vice
President
or
the
Provost,
the
employment
requistion
will
be
forwarded
to
the
office
of
financial
planning
&
budget.
3.
The
office
of
financial
planning
and
budget
will
verify
availability
of
funds
and
send
the
form
electronically
to
consulting
and
client
services
for
posting.
