Spiritual Indifference - In "Jesuit-speak," this does not mean "not caring about something" but rather a generous sense of acceptance and freedom. In CPE, the student is invited to give and receive critical feedback in a straightforward and current manner.  This can be an uncomfortable process.  Yet, the goal is not the destructiveness or diminishment of a person.  The goal of CPE is conversion and transformation toward greater availability and flexibility for service.
