The Gathering United Methodist Church is a new church in the City of St. Louis. Started in September 2006, The Gathering has grown quickly with lots of young adults and young families. We have worship every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. The two services are identical in appearance. We do our best to connect new and ancient forms of worship in ways that allow people to experience God in their lives and in the world around them. We have organized our community around the common practices of worship, learning in community (small and large group ministries), prayer and meditation, service to the poor and giving. Anyone is welcome to participate in our ministries and learning opportunities.
Nate, the Pastor of Spiritual Formation, is a SLU alum (A&S '98 and Law '01). He is alwys willing to meet the coffee or lunch and spends lots of time on and around SLU's campus. One or more small groups are now organizing on campus. If you have any questions or would like to participate, do not hestitate to contact him nate@gatheringnow.org.
