The following is a list, though not exhaustive, of the expectations of senior housing participants. Please read the online Senior Housing Contract Addendum for the complete list of expectations when submitting senior housing request.
- In all on-campus building units, violating the Department of Housing and Residence Life and University policies and regulations, as listed in the Student Handbook, will result in an immediate revocation of senior housing privileges. In addition, there is no visitation, except for immediate family. There are also no overnight guests. In this case, those whose privileges are revoked will be expected to vacate their apartment immediately.
- Senior housing is provided as an “as is” basis. The custodial staff will not have an opportunity to clean rooms prior to your arrival.
- Food service will only be available in limited locations. Please refer to Dining Services’ website at www.slu.edu/services/dining.
- Phone Service will be available; however, residents must bring their own phone. Long distance service will not be available without the use of a calling card or cellular phone.
- Students moving to Fusz will not have access to their belongings from their original building from the time they move on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, until their designated check out time. All belongings in your room must be pre-packed and ready to be moved out at your appointment time.
- Students must contact their Hall Coordinators to arrange a checkout appointment prior to May 2, 2008. This check out appointment is to collect belongings after commencement exercises.
- Senior housing option applies only to May 2008 graduating seniors currently residing on campus, whose permanent address is further than 30 miles from the Saint Louis University campus.
- Move out for Senior Housing is:
- Saturday, May 17th 8am – 10am and from 12:30pm to 8pm
- Sunday, May 18th 8am – Noon
No exceptions or extensions will be granted beyond Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Noon.
