Any graduating student in the Residence Halls should plan to move to a space in Fusz for Senior Housing on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 between 8:30am-Noon. Assignments will be based on available space.
You must pre-pack all of your belongings to assist with quick removal after commencement. You should plan to take everything you need for Senior Housing (including clothing, cap and gown, fish, plants, etc.) since you will not have access to your original residence hall space until your check out time. The rest of your belongings may be left in your original residence hall room at your own risk.
Graduating students living in the Apartments can remain in residence in their location, but must still apply for Senior housing. Students not participating in May Commencement may not remain in the apartments. Failure to submit an online Senior Housing Request Form will result in a forfeiture of your senior housing privileges. You will then be expected to vacate your apartment by 8pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Dear Graduating Senior: (please disregard if not a graduating senior)
The Department of Housing and Residence Life is pleased to continue the tradition of housing graduating students between the end of finals and Commencement. In recognition of the great academic achievement of those graduating students participating in the May 17, 2008 Commencement Exercises, there will be no charge for senior housing. As in years past, students living in residence halls will be asked to consolidate to Fusz.
To take advantage of this senior opportunity, current residential students (both those living in the apartments and the residence halls) seeking housing must complete the following steps:
- Apply for Graduation with your Academic Dean’s Office; (if you haven’t applied for graduation you will not be able to apply for senior housing)
- Complete the Spring 08 Senior Housing request for Senior Housing at the Housing and Residence Life Website at https://housing.slu.edu/studenthousing/Login.asp?TargetPage=Default.asp? by May 1, 2008. This application is available through the housing website. You will have until May 1, 2008 to submit the application.
If you are ineligible for Senior Housing you will be notified via email beginning Monday, May 5, 2008. If you become ineligible for graduation at any time, your senior housing will be canceled immediately.
