Claudia Charles,
M.A., L.C.S.W. Claudia Charles,
a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently is a full-time staff member
in the Student Health and Counseling Center but she had been a Counselor
with SLUCare Employee Assistance Program since 1991. She received her
undergraduate degree in Psychology and French from Saint Louis University.
Claudia also attained her Master's Degree in Human Development Counseling
from SLU. She has done previous work in Substance Abuse as well as worked
with adolescents and their family members. She has a background doing
training on various issues including "Dealing with Difficult People"
and "Stress Management." Claudia is involved with the Sexual
Health/Alcohol committee, as well as being the Coordinator for the expanded
student peer education program Sexual Health/Alcohol Peer Educators
(S.H.A.P.E.). Her clinical interests include improving communication
skills and identifying and achieving goals effectively. |
