Meredith Osborn, a National Certified Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Professional, is a full-time staff member in the Student Health and Counseling Center. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from SIUE and her Master's Degree in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois. Meredith has done previous work in substance abuse, working in both the prevention and treatment field. Meredith has a background in training peer educators/leaders, working with adolescents in the juvenile justice system and their families, and being a staff volunteer/speaker for teen institutes.

Meredith is involved with the Wellness Formation team, the Alcohol Initiatives Committee, as well as a facilitator/coordinator for the SLU Harm and Alcohol Reduction Program (S.H.A.R.P.). Her clinical interests include prevention and intervention in the substance abuse field, including individual and group counseling, social norms campaigns, and peer education programs.
