Deborah
Scheff, R.N., B.S.N., M.A.
977-2323 Deborah Scheff is a registered nurse and Director of the Student Health and Counseling Center. Deborah assumed the position of Director at Saint Louis University in 1992 having completed a successful eighteen year career in hospital administration. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Nursing and obtained a Masters degree in Health Facilities Management. She previously held positions as Director of Nursing and Assistant Administrator with special emphasis in Risk Management in local health care facilities. Deborah is certified as a CPR and standard first aid instructor by the American Red Cross and teaches these skills to students on a regular basis. She has special interest in increasing student awareness of alcohol abuse and sexual assault and is the chairperson of the Alcohol Awareness and Sexual Assault formation team in Student Development. Deborah is the mother of three graduates of Saint Louis University. In her free time, she enjoys the company of her grandbabies, Kyle, and twins Hayden, and Brendan. |
