Welcome to SLU Transportation Services
Transportation Services is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the SLU Van Service, the Billiken Shuttle Service and the Parks CAS shuttle.
Transportation Services' goal is to provide vehicles that are safe, dependable and reliable. Transportation Services is responsible for and ensures the scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and service on all University vans based upon the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations and/or hours of operation, mileage or elapsed time. In addition to a complete check of the vehicles, the vans are washed, fueled with a full tank of gas and ready for each scheduled trip.
Transportation Services is responsible for ensuring that all drivers of University vans, including passengers who will substitute as drivers, have reasonable driving records. We reserve the right to only authorize drivers based upon the Motor Vehicle License Reference Check.
