When you receive a bill from SLUCare, your balance will be due in 30 days. If you need more time, call SLUCare Customer Service, (314) 977-5050 or (800) 682-9858, within seven days of receiving your bill. Online bill pay is also available. If you received services at a hospital, you will receive a separate bill from the hospital for services or tests provided.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements for the SLU Community Care Program, and cannot pay the self-pay balance in full, you may be able to set up a budget plan or a payment arrangement through SLUCare. Accounts not paid within a reasonable period of time, and for which no payment arrangements have been made, will be turned over to a collection agency.
SLUCare social workers help patients with insurance issues and transitional concerns, such as disability, unemployment, divorce, illness or mental illness.
