Where the Academic Advantage Begins
Student Educational Services (SES) is made up of energetic, passionate personnel who are dedicated to the recruitment, retention and graduation of diverse student populations, especially first-generation college students.
SLU undergraduate programs housed in SES include TRiO Student Support Services, the Billiken Success Program and the Peer Mentor program. Pre-College programs include TRiO Educational Talent Search and collaborations with community organizations such as College Bound, Inspire STL Prep-Academy, and others. SES offers unique programming that supports academic success for pre-college students and SLU undergraduates.
Mission: PCAP/Student Educational Services promotes educational opportunity, success, persistence, and graduation with first-generation, low-income students, students from underrepresented groups, and for those whose academic preparation may not have thoroughly prepared them for college and career success. We engage the greater St. Louis community to cultivate and celebrate learning at all levels in order to further the mission of the Division of Enrollment and Retention Management and Saint Louis University.
Vision: As a unit, we empower students for college and career success.
