Student Financial Services on the mySLU Portal

If you HAVE NOT previously logged into mySLU:

  1. Visit password.slu.edu and log in using your SLUNet ID and temporary password. Your SLUNet ID is the portion of your SLU e-mail address before the "@" symbol; your temporary password consists of the letters "Id" followed by the last six digits of your Banner ID number. For example, if your Banner ID was 000123456, your password would be "Id123456." Note that the "I" in "Id" is capitalized.
  2. Click "Change Password" on the left side of the screen, and set a new password according to the guidelines shown. Your password must contain at least one capitalized letter and one numeric character.
  3. Keep your SLUNet ID and password in a safe place. Log out of the password management site and continue with the instructions below.

 

How to Access Financial Aid Information
Students can check their financial aid file completion and award status through the mySLU portal. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Medical School Student Financial Services Office at 314-977-9840 or sfp@slu.edu.

Check for Missing Documents or Information:

  1. Click on the Student Tab at the top
  2. In the Financial Aid Requirements box, select the desired aid year from Choose Another Year drop down list and click GO
  3. View the missing documents or information
  4. Follow the links to complete the outstanding items
Accessing and Confirming Financial Aid Award:
(Award information will not be available until after the file completion priority date.)
  1. Click on the Student Tab at the top
  2. Click on Financial Aid Awards in the Student Financial Services box
  3. Select Aid Year
  4. Click on the Terms and Conditions Tab and click Accept/Decline
  5. Once you have accepted, click on the Accept Award Offer Tab and Accept/Decline all or a portion of the offered financial aid awards

Students can make changes (increases or decreases) to their accepted awards at any time during the academic year by contacting the student financial services office.

To Access the Payment Suite:

Your central location for Billing statements, Payments, Electronic Refunds and More

  1. Click on the Tools Tab at the top
  2. Click on Payment Suite Icon
  3. Once the Payment Suite loads, select the tab for your desired action such as, Make a Payment, Payment Plans or Refunds to set up electronic refunds

Review of 1098-T form:

  1. Click on the Student Tab at the top
  2. In the Student information box, click on 1098-T in the Student Financial Services box
  3. Enter tax year, then click submit

Updating your Address:

  1. Click on the Student Tab at the top
  2. In the Student information box, click on Update Address and Phones
