Greek Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) Retreat

The GOLD retreat provides the leaders within our Greek system to get to know one another, develop their leadership skills, and discuss issues within their own community. The GOLD retreat is held each January and attendance is required for all Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council Executive Board Members, Fraternity and Sorority Chapter Presidents.

Officer Training Day

Held in January, Officer Training day is designed to assist chapter officers in skill-building, connect them to on-campus resources, and provide training in their area of specialty. A variety of chapter officers including social chairs, risk managers, new member educators, philanthropy and service chairs, programming chairs, presidents, and ritual chairs come together to learn about being a fraternity/sorority leader at Saint Louis University and then are offered break out session related to their individual officer position.

Council Officer Transitions

Held in November, this is an opportunity for the newly elected council officers to be installed in front of their peers. Each officer will take an oath to represent the community as a whole, assist member development, uphold policies, and work to create positive change within the community. Members of the fraternity and sorority community and administration are invited to attend and watch the installation of officers, hear from University Administration, and listen to the vision the incoming officers have for their council.
