Saint Louis University

Saint Louis University welcomes students from all countries and offers the International Student Summer Programs to help prepare international students for success at Saint Louis University.

Jump Start Program

Session Details
July 5-25, 2015

Cost: TBD

The Jump Start Program is being offered at the Beijing Center, located on the campus of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).

This program provides excellent opportunities for new Chinese freshmen and advanced English language students who have been admitted to Saint Louis University. This new, three-week program prepares students for academic expectations and campus life in the U.S. Without having to leave China early, students will build-up confidence in using English in class discussions, practice and listening to lectures and obtaining necessary information, and learn strategies for passing exams.

This program provides a true jump-start into university studies and helps ensure academic and personal success. It also offers the opportunity for students to prepare for college-level coursework, improve their academic English skills, and get ready to take the Saint Louis University Writing Exam (SLUWE).
