Summer Scholars is a three-week program designed to encourage students from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in health care. Students will interact with medical students, professors, doctors, nurses and other heath care professionals. Information on planning a medical education, expectations of a pre-med major, learning and developing interview skills and hands-on training will be addressed. Additionally, basic introduction to human anatomy, medical facilities, labs, classrooms and various fields within medicine will be explored.
