Saint Louis University

Because the Center for Sustainability's mission is to create a more sustainable world through interdisciplinary education, research, and community engagement, our students' learning experiences are not constrained to the classroom. Students conduct innovative research and engage in practical work with local businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies through their capstone projects, thesis research, studio courses, and internships.

As a result, our graduates are academically well-rounded and professionally well-prepared to address sustainability and planning issues. The Center for Sustainability also provides a network of alumni to help students obtain internships and develop their careers.

Our sustainability graduates are employed at government agencies, private companies, and nonprofit organizations, and our urban planning graduates have attained careers in government/transportation agencies, banking/investment firms, nonprofit organizations, real estate and development companies, consulting firms, and architecture/planning firms.

Below are detailed profiles of some of our successful alumni.
