Assistantship contracts are typically for nine months, extending from September through the end of May. Assistantships are based on merit rather than financial need and take into consideration a candidate's academic performance, experience, and general fit with the Center. Assistantships cover nine hours of tuition per semester and health insurance. Recipients are expected to work 20 hours per week and may not have outside employment.
Students who wish to be considered for a graduate assistantship can e-mail the completed Graduate Assistantship Application along with a brief cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject line of your e-mail please put "Application for Assistantship" followed by your name.
Candidates interested in consideration for a Graduate Assistantship must complete both the application for admission and the graduate assistantship application by December 31st.
