| KID-SIMPLE: a radio play in the flesh by Jordan Harrison
|
A young, science-fair genius named Moll invents a machine that detects sounds beyond the range of hearing (the footsteps of spiders, faraway shipwrecks, the sound of heartbreak). Unfortunately, evil forces hire a shape-shifter to steal the machine for nefarious purposes. It's up to Moll and her virginal friend Oliver to save sound ( and the universe! ) from total chaos. A narrator and sound effects artist help tell this funny fable of innocence and onomatopoeia. (May not be suitable for young audiences) Fridays and Saturdays
