Roll the dice with this zany, offbeat and very funny
musical-murder-mystery farce! Unassuming shoe salesman Harry
Witherspoon will inherit $6 million if he takes his gambler uncle's
corpse for a fun-filled vacation in Monte Carlo. The proceedings are
sheer bedlam as Harry comes up against his uncle's insanely jealous
(and legally blind!) mistress, her put-upon optometrist brother, and a
zealous representative from the Universal Dog Home determined to see
Harry's inheritance "go to the dogs". This first produced musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (RAGTIME, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, ANASTASIA) is full of energy. The gamble pays off with an evening of inspired musical theatre lunacy.
