Walk to Madrid 2016
Walk to Madrid is a virtual walking program to promote an active lifestyle for our faculty, staff, and students. It is a team approach with members tracking their steps with a pedometer and competing against other teams to see who can walk the farthest! This year's program runs Monday, June 6 through Sunday, July 31.
An informational meeting for team captains will be held on Thursday, June 2 at 8 am and 12 noon, in the Simon Recreation Center lower level multipurpose room. Team captains are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program.
The Walk to Madrid awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, August 9 from 11:45 am to 1 pm in the Simon Recreation Center Juice Bar.
Check out our Facebook Page for exciting updates and information! Team captains will recieve weekly reminder emails with a GoogleDoc attachment to submit steps. When submitting steps, please make sure to send the total number of steps for the whole team for that particular week. Be sure to also include your team name so we know who to award those steps to!
