Women's and Gender Studies Undergraduate Capstone (WGST 4960)

The capstone course offers students the opportunity to complete a final research project that synthesizes their studies in the department. It enables students to have a mentored one-on-one research experience with one of our faculty who serves to guide the project. The projects are presented at the end of the semester to share the knowledge accumulated through the project with the wider community of Women's and Gender Studies scholars and students.

See our web page at 'Course offerings'  for the official class description and more information.

Women's and Gender Studies Epistemology Papers (WGST 5020)

As part of the Graduate concentration in Women's and Gender Studies, students compose an individual paper on a topic that integrates feminist theory and feminist epistemological issues with their chosen field of study. Students work with faculty mentors to explore their research. The projects are presented at the end of the semester to share the knowledge accumulated through the project with the wider community of Women's and Gender Studies scholars and students.
