What is a dual degree?
The term dual degree means you will receive a degree from the School of Social Work and a degree from the School of Public Health. Because you are receiving two degree(s) you must apply to each of the programs and be accepted by each program.
You accomplish this dual degree through a structured course of study that allows for the sharing of credit hours between the two programs. Each dual degree has a set amount of required hours that are less than if you achieved these degrees as separate entities.
