In the School for Professional Studies (SPS), I teach a combination of Organizational Studies & Industrial Psychology courses. In terms of Organizational Studies, I teach courses in Leadership, Organizational Foundations, & Organizational Theory & Practice. In terms of Industrial Psychology, I teach courses in General Psychology, Occupational Health and Stress, and Motivation and Self-Management.
My teaching methods utilize a combination of interactive lecturing, small group discussion, and in-class activities. I have developed a personal teaching philosophy that guides course design and each classroom setting. In addition, I plan to offer more online courses each year, to give students the option of completing my courses on-ground or online.
The School for Professional Studies is a program of study for working adults. Therefore, all the courses I teach in SPS are taught on an accelerated 8-week term. Courses meet in the evenings or on Saturdays for four hours. I traditionally teach six classes each year.
