Welcome to Saint Louis University and to Major Exploration Academic Advising! Major Exploration is housed under the University College and serves students who are in any stage of selecting a major. Major Exploration students are either first year or transfer students finding a major or current students re-deciding on a major. Major Exploration students select a major that meets their academic, professional, and personal goals.
Academic Advisors provide the necessary information, support, and timeframe needed for students to meet their goals. They also assist students and families navigate courses, programs, and Saint Louis University. In addition to Academic Advisors, Major Exploration students often work with a Career Development Specialist to help discover and incorporate career goals into their academic decisions. At the end of the exploration process, students feel confident in their major choice.
Incoming students are expected to complete one self assessment module in FOCUS 2. To log on to FOCUS 2, visit this site.
