The Saint Louis University Department of Chemistry NMR facility is located in Monsanto Hall and houses a Bruker Avance III 400 NMR Spectrometer. While this instrument is primarily for the use of Chemistry Faculty, Researchers, and Students, other users from SLU, outside universities, or industries are welcome. The Bruker Avance III 400 NMR spectrometer was installed in September 2007. It is fitted with a 5 mm Multinuclear broadband observe (BBFO) probe with digital tuning covering the range from 15N to 31P and 19F with 1H decoupling, which includes the Automatic Tuning and Matching accessory. Variable temperature analysis is capable from -100 degrees Celsius to 400 degrees Celsius.
