Welcome to the Pre-Professional Health Studies Office
The pre-professional health studies (PPHS) office at Saint Louis University advises undergraduate students who plan to continue on to schools of medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry and veterinary medicine. Students can choose from almost any major offered at SLU and participate in the Pre-Professional Health Studies Program.
Health professional schools are highly interested in students who have outstanding academic achievement and are well-rounded in their co-curricular involvement. Thus, pre-health advisors offer customized assistance and support to help each individual student establish and prepare the most competitive application for admission possible.
You can explore the services offered through the pre-professional health studies office by checking out the links below. You can also find information on the courses taught by PPHS staff members, the Medical Scholar Program, the PPHS Physician Shadowing Program, the Committee on Evaluations and more.
