Kenneth Fleischmann, J.D., is vice president for human resources at Saint Louis University.
As vice president to the HR division since 2009 and interim vice president since 2008, Fleischmann provides leadership to a mission-focused human resources program for members of the University's faculty and staff.
Fleischmann joined Saint Louis University in 1989 as a member of the General Counsel's office. During his tenure at SLU, he has played a key role in advising the University on federal and state employment and labor laws. He also has helped craft numerous University policies on a wide array of HR-related topics and has collaborated on major revisions to the faculty manual and staff handbook.
In addition, Fleischmann established a "Legal Issues in Supervision" training program and has conducted diversity training workshops. He also served as corporate secretary and legal advisor for ancillary services to SLUCare from 2001-2003 and served on the Institutional Review Board for more than a decade.
Fleischmann earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University where he was valedictorian of his class. He received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Akron.
