All students entering the Medical Laboratory Science, Cytotechnology, or Investigative and Medical Sciences programs at the freshman level should have:

In order to be considered for admission to any of the undergraduate programs of Saint Louis University, applicants must be graduates of an accredited high school or have an acceptable score on the General Education Development Test (GED).
Students are encouraged to take four or more academic courses each semester of high school. The following high school curriculum is recommended for admission: 4 years of english, 2 years of social sciences, 3 years of mathematics, 2 years of foreign languages, 2 years of natural sciences, 3 years of academic electives. High school natural sciences courses in biology and chemistry are required for admission to programs within the Doisy College of Health Sciences.
