Apply to the Medical Scholars Program
Deadline: Dec. 1 of your senior year
To be considered for the Medical Scholars program, you must have:
- An acceptance to the SLU freshman class following completion of your high school diploma -- learn how to apply to Saint Louis University
- A composite ACT score of 30 or higher, or an SAT total of 1330 (math + verbal) or higher *
- An outstanding high school academic record which includes one year of biology, one year of chemistry, and three years of mathematics.
* If you do not have the requisite ACT or SAT score by Dec. 1 but plan to re-take the exam, you should still apply to the Medical Scholars program by the Dec. 1 deadline; your application will be considered once we receive the latest exam score. (To be considered for the Medical Scholars program, the latest date to take the ACT or SAT is in December.)
The Medical Scholars application will be available from the Undergraduate Admission home page in early July. This application is separate from the general admissions application to SLU.
The Pre-professional Health Studies program Director reviews all applicant files. A letter will be mailed to you on March 1 to let you know whether or not you've been accepted to the Medical Scholars program.
