Offered during Spring Break each year, Mission Trips are opportunities to participate in service, immersion, and community-building throughout the U.S. and select international sites. Past trips have included a wide variety of sites, from El Salvador, Jamaica, and the Navajo Nation to service-learning trips to Appalachia and North St. Louis. Through these trip experiences, students encounter both social factors that contribute to poverty and public conflicts as well as opportunities to respond to calls for service and solidarity.
Mission Trips may be designed to include any of the following examples, depending on the site and the Group Moderator's desired themes, topics, and activities:
