Course Instructor FAQ
Disability Services recognizes that course instructors play a vital role in the academic accommodation process with the reality being that students will have far more contact with course instructors than with Disability Services. Thus, Disability Services can be a valuable and supportive resource for course instructors who are working with students approved for academic accommodations. The accommodation effort is truly collaborative.
If you need quick information to get started, the Basic Need-to-Know Info section is designed to address the most common questions course instructors reference to Disability Services.
For more in-depth information, three FAQ sections are available:
- Making Academic Accommodation Arrangements;
- About the Accommodation Notification Letters;
- Common Classroom Accommodations.
In addition, course instructors are encouraged to contact Disability Services to discuss any of the information found within this web site or to talk about current issues relevant to a particular class and situation.
