Saint Louis University provides many online services for students, faculty and staff. To secure those services, passwords are required.
In April 2012, managing the passwords to all of these services became easier with an improved password.slu.edu. The new site now changes your Google Apps (e-mail, calendar, documents) password and SLU Net ID password at the same time. The new site also lists which applications' passwords will be impacted by changing your SLU Net ID. Take a look at the login page of the site:

**The IT Service Desks will NEVER contact you for your SLU Net password or any confidential information. The Service Desks will only ask you to verify this information if you contact the desk for assistance.
If you are asked to provide confidential information through your SLU e-mail account or by telephone, it is most likely SPAM or a Phishing scam and you should contact the IT Service Desk.**
