About Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University
Doisy College of Health Sciences (DCHS) is located in the heart of St. Louis on SLU's Medical Center, home to Saint Louis University's schools of Medicine, Public Health, Nursing and Saint Louis University Hospital. DCHS offers health care education at the baccalaureate, master's, doctoral, and professional levels.
DCHS is located within the Allied Health Professions Building. The school boasts modern labs including a gait lab for assessing motion analysis, a culinary lab for teaching food services and preparation, a diagnostic lab to teach blood and body fluid analysis, a simulated medical
office suite and exam rooms complete with videotaping capabilities and one-way mirrors for student observation, a radiation therapy simulation lab for hands-on learning using radiation therapy treatment planning software, and media labs for teaching students how to assist client in daily activities that support their quality of life.
Our programs and degrees include: athletic training, clinical laboratory science, cytotechnology, food innovation and entrepreneurship, health informatics, health information management, health sciences, investigative and medical sciences, magnetic resonance imaging, molecular imaging and therapeutics, nuclear medicine and technology, nutrition and dietetics, occupational science and occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant education, and radiation therapy.
