Vice President, Advancement and University Relations
Jeff Fowler is vice president for university advancement at Saint Louis University.
As the advancement division's vice president since March 2011 and interim vice president since November 2009, Fowler manages the fundraising, alumni relations and marketing and communications efforts for the University.
As SLU's former associate vice president for marketing and communications, Fowler oversaw a wide array of University communication efforts, including media relations, marketing, web services, publications and graphic design. Among his many accomplishments as associate vice president, Fowler led two successful marketing campaigns and spearheaded the redesign of the University's Website. He also plays a key role in crisis communications, often serving as a University spokesperson.
Fowler also is a member of the President's Coordinating Council and Executive Staff, as well as University liaison to the Board of Trustees standing committees for both Development & Community Relations and Marketing & Branding.
Fowler joined SLU in December 2000 as director of University media relations.
Before coming to SLU, Fowler spent more than 20 years working in the media. Many St. Louisans still recognize him from his time at KSDK-TV Channel 5, where he was a reporter and anchor for more than a decade.
