Bachelor of Arts
A Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Saint Louis University provides students an in-depth study into the art world, both in prominent Western periods and Eastern cultures. Designing our curriculum to cover such a wide-range of art offers students an opportunity to delve deeper into their specific periods of interest.
No matter the path a student chooses, each receives a strong, balanced foundation of study of western traditions in Art History through a series of core classes. Our faculty have fashioned this curriculum to develop essential art historical methodologies such as critical analysis, social history, semiotics and other methods within all our majors.
