Saint Louis University School of Nursing has been a national leader in nursing education since it was founded in 1928. The Gourman Report, a report that ranks graduate educational institutions, consistently ranks the School of Nursing's Graduate Program among the top schools of nursing in the U.S. The School of Nursing offers several bachelor's programs, a variety of masters and post-masters certificate programs, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and a PhD in Nursing. The masters, post-masters certificate, and PhD programs are under the academic jurisdiction of Graduate Education Admission.

Credit Hours/Coursework: All program specialties and options are offered completely online. The program requirements range from 38-45 credit hours of course work. Individualized full and part-time curriculum plans are possible. There is also a 30 credit hour program available for RN's who do not already have a MSN degree, but are certified as an adult, family, gerontological or pediatric nurse practitioner. | Course listings

Scholarships & Financial Aid: The School of Nursing provides some tuition assistance scholarships to eligible graduate students enrolled in the nursing program. Program Highlights: The Graduate Nursing programs are "truly" online. Coursework has been been fully online since 1997, one of the first nursing programs in the country to go completely online. A minimum of one campus visit or "Residency" is required for teaching of those skills not amenable to online learning such as suturing and evaluation of student skills. Additionally, the School of Nursing also hosts an annual advanced practice conference for continuing nursing education. | Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)
