Guided by the teachings of the Church on social justice, we serve others by promoting justice for the disenfranchised through advocacy, direct service, and formation, thereby creating partnerships with those who promote human dignity.

WHAT DOES “FERGUSON” CALL US TO DO: The second in our parish's series of three gatherings concerning Race and racism will be held in our ballroom on March 15th after the 10:30 Mass from 12 noon - 1:30.
Professor Terry Jones, Founder’s Professor of Political Science and Public Policy Administration at UMSL will present, “Residential Segregation in the St. Louis Region: Causes, Consequences, and Policy Options."
Dr. Jones is a nationally recognized expert in the area of urban affairs and has written extensively about the politics and polices that led to St. Louis County’s fragmented governance. He will outline the past policies that created racial segregation in the St. Louis area and the policy options for addressing our racial divide.
Food and drink will be available; rsvp appreciated - firstname.lastname@example.org. Join us to listen and discuss issues that concern us all.
What is THE DANIEL COMMITTEE? No, it's not Fr. Dan's latest creation for the parish! And it's not named after him. The Advocacy Committee which for a number of years has kept the parish informed on Peace and Justice issues has changed its name. Daniel is a familiar figure from the Hebrew Scriptures for most of us. Remember the lion's den and the writing on the wall? If you read the book of Daniel, you will find much more about him that reveals the prophetic person he was, even in captivity. Above all, Daniel was a person of JUSTICE and thus an example for us as People of God. Take note, especially, of Daniel's revelation in Chapter 12; v. 3. God's promise: ...those who lead the many to justice shall be like the stars forever.” We invite you to join us. We meet on the second Sunday (coming up next week, March 8th) between the two Masses usually in the Ball Room - with Coffee 'n' Donuts. ALL ARE WELCOME to join us as we gather next Sunday at 9am in the Ballroom!
